South Jakarta City Secretary, ALi Murthadho, said that local government appreciates this competition because innovation in the field of health services is very much needed in order to realize community welfare.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Yudi Dimyati, explained additional category to be added on this year's competition, namely Other Hospital. It is aimed to reach non regional hospitals.
"18 innovator teams from 10 Puskesmas, five Regional Hospitals, and other three hospitals will participate in the competition from August 20-21, 2024," he explained.
Yudi continued that this competition aims to capture, document, define, and promote innovations in the health sector as an effort to accelerate the improvement of service quality as a means of exchanging experiences and learning for the development of productivity in the health sector.
It is hoped that this activity can also motivate public service providers to be more professional and encourage sustainable innovations.
